Is it summer yet?

I am so ready for summer.  Aside from the beach and pool, there has been an explosion of indoor play spaces locally that we’re looking forward to visiting this summer. We’ll definitely be purchasing the Skyzone Summer Membership. $80 gets you in now until September 22nd. Seems like a good deal given their monthly membership is $27/month.

Onward to other things. April was full of fun. We celebrated the girls’ birthdays with a small(ish) joint party. We did the DIY bracelet kit I shared last month with their friends, and it was a total hit with the kids and the moms. I highly suggest it as a group activity.

I did want to mention that almost all of the stuff I share, I purchase when there is some type of promotion. I always put the retail price because sometimes I write these a week or so in advance and don’t have time to update prices, and don’t ever want to mislead you, so definitely click through the links to see what kind of promotions are going on.

Summer Target Find

Shoed for all occasions.

I snagged these during one of Target’s recent sales and I love them! They’re feminine and go with so many things. I reach for them for church, dinners out, and any other event where I want to feel a bit more polished.

So cheap. So minimal.

I am such a minimalist when it comes to makeup. I haven’t tried a new mascara in years, but I saw this one recommended recently. I love it so far!

Catch All.

A container for everything

I added these to our bathroom counters to hold “all the things” we use daily. I might add another one in the girls’ bathroom. I’m very fond of having containers for everything.

Currently Loving (kids' version)

Fitted Halter Tank Top

$10

I wish this tank came in my size. I love the accent stitch. The girls have made these a staple in their spring wardrobe.

Ribbed Pocket Flare-Leg Pants

$13

Aurora has been asking for flared pants so I scooped these up. They come in a solid version too!

Unicorns Coloring Kit

$10

Such a cute and simple gift if your kids are in a unicorn phase. Aurora has worked on this meticulously since she got it!

Giant Stuffed Unicorn

$44

We are in a HUGE (pun intended) unicorn phase. This is already a favorite and has taken lots of rides in the car and gets to sleep in bed at night.

That no one asked for.

Apologies for the unicorn overload, but this find is too cute not to share. The giant unicorn Aurora got comes with a zipper pouch where you can access the filling. She asked Isla to get her baby unicorns for the pouch. I found this little set and it’s been so cute watching them play. There are other animals available too – lion, turtle, pig – all so cute!
